Our story

Engineering that holds up — over time, under pressure.

Athena Engineering Works Limited is a Kenyan-owned company offering engineering, construction and construction project-management services. We serve private developers, public agencies, telecom operators and energy companies across the country.

Our work spans steel structure erections, reinforced concrete structures, high-rise and low-rise buildings, road construction, water dam works and high- and low-tension electrical transmission systems. Whatever the scale, we keep clients informed throughout — so projects move forward on schedule and within budget.

We are registered with the National Construction Authority as a Category 5 Building and Roads Works contractor, and certified by the Energy Regulatory Commission for electrical works.

End-to-end delivery

We are fully registered with NCA for civil, electrical, electronic and mechanical works — meaning we handle all four disciplines under one roof. Our clients deal with one team, one accountable project manager, and one consistent quality standard. No third-party hand-offs.

In-house plant & people

We own and maintain a working fleet of excavators, motor graders, backhoes, rollers, lorries, tippers, water bowsers and concrete plant — backed by certified plant operators, masons, fabricators and licensed electricians. That means faster mobilisation and lower costs.

Engineering depth

Our project teams bring civil, structural, electrical and project-management expertise. We use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Prokon and MS Project to move from design through execution — and we measure ourselves against cost variance, schedule variance and team-performance baselines.

24 / 7 technical support

On energy and telecom contracts, our expert technicians and engineers are available 365 days a year. From a transmission-line fault to a generator commissioning, we’re reachable when it matters.

KRA

Tax-compliant; certificates available on request for tender submissions.

County Permits

Single Business Permits in counties of operation, including Nairobi and Mombasa.
